This was a really cool show with Boss Fuel, and Ashley Von Hurter & The Haters. Did Drop Dead play this show? Our brains are fuzzy. This was an epic Providence show with local bands, put on by one of the coolest record stores in town.
The show was held in an upstairs warehouse space above the store. It was super hot, amps were blowing up, the crowd and bands were blending as one, and to top it all off this was the night OJ RAN AWAY IN THE WHITE FORD BRONCO!
Fast Forward had this incredible sculpture hanging over the counter made from the frame of a motorcycle with tv’s built into the frame (sculpture by Joe “Howdy” Wagner we believe?), and everyone was gathered around the sculpture watching the constant news footage of OJ running. After the show everyone hung out in the street, drinking and talking about OJ. It was a memorable show for sure.
